Very knowledgeable staff to seem to know were every books is! Very helpful and polite. Very good at recommending books. Would recommend this book store.

What you might call the perfect bookstore. Tables of curated books and knowledgeable staff - a good place to discover something new.

Topping & Company Booksellers of Bath

The Paragon, Bath BA1 5LS, UK – 01225 428111

Topping & Company is a fantastic independent book store right in the heart of Bath with a huge selection of books across a wide variety of subjects. One nice touch is that all the books are sold with protective plastic book covers. The staff are hugely knowledgeable and always happy to help you. The store runs regular high quality events l, both in store and in nearby venues, with a great range of authors. One of the benefits of this means that the store had a large number of signed books in stock which makes Topping & Company a fantastic place to find a present for the book lover in your life. There aren't many book shops of this calibre left so I would strongly recommend visiting and supporting then with your custom. If you love books and live in or are visiting Bath then this is the place for you.

Possibly the best book shop in the country. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Free tea and coffee while you browse. Well worth a visit.
